Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry)

Physiatry is the field of medicine which focuses care on patients with acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal problems. The doctors that specialize in this area are non-surgical specialists. They treat a number of different problems including musculoskeletal problems and nerve injuries. They also perform nerve testing (EMGs).
