Scott E. Marwin, MD is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstruction including primary hip and knee replacement, revision hip and knee replacement, and hip resurfacing. His Adult Reconstruction fellowship training was at Mt. Sinai Hospital/University of Toronto. His orthopaedic residency training was at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine where he also went to medical school. He currently is an attending physician at the Hospital for Joint Diseases/Langone NYU Medical Center and he is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. He is the former associate chairman of orthopaedic surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is also the founder and president of the Long Island Joint Replacement Association.
Dr. Marwin is a member of both the AAOS and AAHKS. He has published 64 articles in peer-review journals on topics including infection of total joint replacement, hip resurfacing, and revision joint replacement. He is a consultant and implant designer for Smith and Nephew. In 2002, he was elected by his peers for inclusion into Best Doctors in America®. He is a lifetime member of Continental Who’s Who.
